About this Cook
im mostly a mom -- its what I love best about being me. I am also a bit of a cook, taught cooking for years and have raised 3 awesome cooks here at home.
My favorite things to cook
clams casino, tandy cake, sweet potatoes, I love to cook soups and breads, and, of course, desserts -- and brisket.
My favorite family cooking traditions
me and my kids in the kitchen. i know it sounds hokey, but I love it when the girls and I are making bread or soup and my son is baking cookies.
My cooking triumphs
still enjoying it after being married 29 years
My cooking tragedies
very early in our marriage, made meatballs with garlic salt, thinking it was garlic powder. he ate em, but I never lived that one down. I also have dropped my peaches and cream pie all over the floor and sent pasta down the drain many times.
