Simple Scones
These are excellent! Light, flaky and just delicious. I didn't put raisins in, just left them plain and did an egg, milk and salt wash before baking them. They go delicious with tea!

Spicy Squash Casserole
Well, this was a hit with my finicky step-dad! I didn't use jalapenos because he doesn't like spicy, but instead cumin and paprika. It was a bit bland for my taste, but perfect for him. I also used spagetti squash and precooked it in the oven for 20 minutes before sauteeing. Was tasty and will probably make again!

Sweet and Spicy Sweet Potatoes
Awesome recipe! I made it for my parents a while ago as the normal one and I just made a less spicy version for Christmas dinner with my grandparents. All I did was cut down the paprika to about half, only used a sprinkle of chili powder and left out the cayenne completely. They loved it!
