I started cooking in Jr. High, but before that I was always helping my Mom around the kitchen. Loved experimenting making up my own casseroles. Lasagna, chicken enchiladas Making Christmas cookies and birthday cakes with with my kids. The kitchen usually ends up to be a catsrophic mess but it is all worth it to see the masterpieces they come up with. My seven layer salad and taco dip...those two are always requested at family holiday dinners or get togethers with friends. Fried chicken, biscuits and gravy. Ugh! It just never turns out well...or how my Mother makes it.
