Wife and mother of one. Love to entertain country-style. Very involved in my community, lots of pot lucks, shin-digs and gift platters. I like to cook big and make it last a few meals. Absolute favorite is mexican food, but I like to make it healthy. I love mixed textures; crunchy, creamy, chewy. And like my profile name, I never make the same thing twice- at least not the exact same way. Much of that comes from living 40 miles from the grocery store and just learning to make due with what is in the pantry. With a profile name of "Never the same thing twice", tradition is not my thing. Serving a hot lunch to 35-40 teenagers once a week for the entire school year and having them all say I was a good cook. So much tragedy in the kitchen...er world today.
