Absolute Mexican Cornbread
This was by far the best cornbread I have eer had. I did follow the recipe exactly since it was my first time and everyone LOVED it. I will follow the suggestions of cutting the butter in half and backing off the sugar just a tad. Just because I'll feel better about having seconds, it's packed with calories and fat. Boy, is it good though!

Brie Cheese Appetizer
This was wonderful. I followed another rater's comment of freezing the cheese before cutting it and that was not successful, I think you have to thaw it for a bit if you choose to freeze it. It was way to hard to cut into. so I put the perserves on top of the brie and continued with the directions. I will definately try in again with the perserves sandwiched but it was great on top too.

Cider Wassail
I greeted my guests at a gift wrapping party I hosted with this wonderfully festive treat and I got RAVE REVIEWS! I didn't have any ground cloves so I added a pinch of all-spice and it was excellent.
