One Word: DELICIOUS!! I enjoyed this recipe very much, it had great flavor and pretty simple to make. I did use the suggestion of coating the ziti with the sour cream before layering..Great dish and a hit with everyone!!

Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2008
This beef stew recipe is delicious & easy. I doubled up on the recipe because I have a large family and everyone LOVED it. I ended up putting the flour mixture in a ziploc bag and added the meat to that and shook really well until everything was evenly coated and then put it in the crockpot. I also added frozen sweet peas to the recipe and it was perfect. This is the first time I made beef stew that everyone in my house enjoyed. What a great recipe!! If you are looking for a great beef stew recipe, you should pick this one...

BBQ Pork for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2008
This was absolutely delicious!!! I follewed the recipe exactly and wouldn't change a thing. I read other reviews and everyone mentioned to use Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, so I made sure to pick some up & use for this recipe. (I had never tried it before) It is great and would recommend it to anyone to go along with this recipe. Simply delicious & a great dish to make for watching football on Sunday!!!!

Easy Homemade Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
This was a home run with my family. I had to double up on the recipe (family of 5 & 3 are teenage boys) and everyone LOVED this chili. I made a couple small changes to it because I had a couple items on hand that I thought would be great in it. I added diced green pepper (1 whole), diced red bell pepper (1 whole), minced garlic (about 2 TBLSP), I used about 2 TBLSP of chili powder, I only used 1 cup of water and used diced tomatoes instead of stewed tomatoes to make it nice a chunky. It was very, very delicious. Everyone really enjoyed it. I also make a couple of loaves of corn bread and it was the perfect dish to make and watch football on Sunday. This is now a staple in my house.

Tuna Noodle Casserole II

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2008
This was very deelish... I added and extra can of cream of mushroom soup after reading a few of the other reviews and added a can of peas as well. I used mozzarella cheese instead and it was perfect. I wouldn't change anything else about this recipe. It smelled so good as I was mixing everything together to go in the baking dish that I couldn't wait for it to be done already. I have a large family & everyone enjoyed even the teenagers!! If anyone is looking for a tuna noodle casserole-this should be the one you choose!!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2008
This recipe is VERY delicious! I have 3 teenage boys that love homemade breads and this is now on the top of all 3 of their lists. I didn't have the nutmeg or the cloves on hand to use in the recipe but added in 1 TBLSP of vanilla extract and used 1 TSP of ginger instead. I used 2 large loaf pans instead of the 3 small ones and cooked for about 1 hour. I probably took it out of the oven about 2-3 minutes before it was done so it would be very moist, AND IT WAS!!!
