I am a young 47 year old wife, and Mother to three Wonderful daughters,three SIL'S and four Precious Grandchildren. We try to have family night once a month, which include some type of activity (board game) and it always includes food and eating.. I love to cook and enjoy seeing other people eat what I cook. I love making Desserts and cooking new recipes.. Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners at our house is an all night cooking adventure.. One of my daughters made a comment recently that her fondest childhood memory is Me in the kitchen cooking all night as they tried to sleep, smelling the wonderful aroma of Thanksgiving/Christmas dinner cooking. Made me Smile :) Cooking Outdoors on a cooker for fifty people for my husbands 50th Birthday .. Daves recipe for "Low Country Boil" My first attempt to make homemade chicken and Dressing..My Sister(Jan) told me her recipe for chicken and dressing and she is a wonderful cook, well she forgot to tell me in DETAIL that you add chicken broth to the bread mixture before cooking the dressing.When I took it from the oven it was VERY DRY and CRUNCHY. I called her and she ask what I had done and I told her in DETAIL, She said when did you put in the Chicken broth.. I said "CHICKEN BROTH"! We still laugh about that disaster to this day!!
