I would not make this recipe again. I following the instructions except for reducing the oil and adding some frozen peas, and I found it really, really bland. I actually went over the recipe twice because I was convinced I'd forgotten an ingredient, but I hadn't- the recipe is just blah. It doesn't taste like much of anything- it's vaguely sweet and vaguely salty, not actually off-putting but not at all appealing. I love sesame noodles and was hoping for a way to get that taste at home, but this is not it.

Tasty Cabbage Salad

This is an easy, yummy, budget-friendly dish, but I'd suggest one or two little changes. I didn't have MSG, or want to use it, so I added one of the ramen flavor packets to the dressing instead. Also, don't waste your money on bagged coleslaw mix- one small cabbage is about the same as two 16 oz bags of mix, and it only takes a few minutes to chop up.

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

It's still cooking, but I stole a taste when I shredded the chicken and it's AMAZING. I don't know if I can wait another 2 hours...

Company Cauliflower

Like others, I used onion and garlic to make this a little less bland. Salt and pepper are also important- I didn't add any before I baked it, but it needs it. Overall quite tasty, I will definitely make it again with a few modifications.

Apple Scones

This is a good recipe for what it is- light, fluffy, and very, very Starbucks. I usually like classic scones, very dense and craggy with a bit of buttermilk tang. This is more like cake than bread- not really what I want in a scone. If that's what you're looking for this is a good recipe. Not very strong apple taste- maybe add a splash of cider?

Coffee Cookies

I'm quite disappointed by this recipe. They taste decent, but they spread out a lot during baking. The amounts seem to be off too- no way does this recipe make thirty cookies. I wound up with 14. It's a promising start- with more flour and maybe a dash of cinnamon these would be a lot better.

Hot German Potato Salad III

This was really good and easy to do- I made a few changes, I used some chopped up turkey kielbasa instead of bacon, and used broccoli and garlic as well as the onions. I've never had a hot potato salad before, but I like it.
