Since my 83year old Cuban mother lives with me she does most of the cooking, but I need to start taking over sometimes to give her a break, I work a full time job and need to find quick and easy recipe's, that taste good. I know how to cook Cuban food but don't know much about cooking American food, need lots of help since my husband is an American. Cuban food, love stir fry veggies, and pastries. Black beans and rice with fried pork and fried plantain chips. I hate when recipe's call for ingredients you can't find at the local supermarket, that has alway been my tragedy also long recipe's that take longer to read and prepare.
