My Husband & I
About this Cook
Hi, my name is Amer. I am recently married, October 4, 2008, to my high school sweetheart, Joe. We dated 5 years before we got married and now live in our cozy little home lol. We don't have any children yet, but love all of our godchildren, neices, nephews cousins and all of the other little tikes in our family. I work as an STNA currently and am looking for a job as an LPN and am currently in school for my RN!
My favorite things to cook
Easy things...lol I'm not the best cook. I'm great at baking! Cakes, cookies, etc but cooking is defintely not my expertise!! I'm trying though and my husband is very understanding and is willing to eat everything I try...poor guy!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom & I have always, for as long as i can remember made cookies, rock candy & fudge for christmas every year & this year the tradition will continue but at MY house!! so thats exciting!
My cooking triumphs
hmm...none yet lol
My cooking tragedies
wow..where do i start...my first time making choc. chip cookies, I put 1/4 cup of baking soda instead of a 1/4 tbsp. i told my mom they looked funny so she tried one...very salty...so she took a drink of her Pepsi and it started fizzing in her mouth..looked like she had rabies..Definitely hilarious now but very tragic when i was a kid lol!!

Easy Baked Chicken
I've made a recipe like this for years, but i use ranch dressing. And for the brad crumbs i use ritz crackers that i have put thru the food processor. i love it and my husband loves it. great with cheesy potatoes, too!!
