I am a mother of 4 children (3 are step children), and a wife of a wonderful man. I am currently a stay-at-home mother, and have been pursuing an education in the field of Psychology.
My favorite things to cook
I am new at cooking, and have been using family recipes since I have started. I make a really good meatloaf, spaghetti, mushroom with roasted red pepper soup, vegetable soup, oven-baked ribs, sauteed vegetables, breads, a little bit of this, and a little bit of that...
My favorite family cooking traditions
Our family goes "all out" with Thanksgiving-this is my favorite gathering. We all have our own recipes, including a stuffing made from scratch. So it's more of a big pot luck. My family's cooking influence mostly comes from the Irish, Scottish and Italian. We are very Celtic, and stick true to our heritage with cooking.
My cooking triumphs
So far I have the meatloaf and spaghetti mastered. The next on my list are Soups and Stews.
My cooking tragedies
Well, I haven't had any yet, but there's a first time for everything ha?
