Maple Salmon

Very good and very quick & easy to make! My husband said he could eat salmon every night if fixed this way.

Aunt Mary's Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2009
This cake was very good, very moist, and just the right flavor! I will definitely keep this and use it again for a homemade chocolate cake. Definitely needed the full 35 min. for baking.

Salmon with Pecan Honey Glaze

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2009
This is delicious, however it's really really sweet. I would cut back on the butter next time, as well as the quantity altogether. Dividing it up amongst the suggested amount of salmon is still way too much glaze for each filet.

Honey Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2009
This is such a great tasting oatmeal recipe. I did make quite a few adjustments based on the reviews. Here is what I did and they turned out PERFECT & so flavorful! I replaced the shortening with 3/4 cup butter. Added 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. nutmeg, 1/4 tsp. ground cloves, 1/4 cup brown sugar, and a pinch of salt to the dry ingredients. I also added 3/4 cup raisins & 3/4 cup chopped walnuts. I baked them at 325 for 20 min. and they were just slightly golden brown on the bottom. I was also using Pampered Chef stoneware to bake on. I will definitely use this recipe many many times!

Watermelon and Strawberry Lemonade

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2009
This was very good, but I also did as others suggested and only used 1/2 cup of sugar, boiling it with the water first. I also used fresh squeezed lemons (4 of them), and also added lemon juice. Next time I will probably use 6-7 squeezed lemons...it definitely needed a more lemonade flavor than what it got with the original recipe.

Salsa Pasta Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2009
OMG! This is sooo good! I followed the recipe exactly on everything except I used about 3 cups of pasta. Once I finished making it I tasted it and wanted to just eat the whole bowl right then. I can't wait to see how yummy it must taste once it completely cools and sits a bit. I wouldn't change anything other than add a few more noodles. I will definitely make this recipe A LOT!

Deviled Eggs

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2009
Waaaay too salty! I thought that was a lot of salt when I was making them, but put it in anyways. Definitely would cut the salt amount in half! Otherwise they were good.

Chocolate Chip Crispies

Reviewed: May 21, 2009
I thought these tasted great, not too sweet at all. I also put the chocolate chips as others have suggested, in the center. Only thing I didn't like is these krispie treats seemed kind of hard and almost dry. I like mine to be softer and more moist.

Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting

VERY Delicious! I use this frosting recipe for most of my cakes now. I've had friends ask for it after tasting it on a cake I made. It's not too super sweet which is what I like.

Lentil Chili

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2008
This is DELICIOUS! I made a few adjustments. I didn't have any tomato sauce, so used all diced tomatoes (30 oz), could've used more. I also cut up carrots in it and that was very yummy. I also added beans. This is a very hearty chili and I love being able to use lentils.

Butternut Squash Supreme

I did not care for this dish. Was bland and either you need to use less onions, or definitely saute before baking. They were too overwhelming. I don't think I will use this recipe again.

Libby's® Pumpkin Cranberry Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2008
I loved this recipe and so did everyone else that tried it. The first time I made it, I followed the directions exact and the bread was "oily", so the 2nd time I substituted applesauce for the oil as others suggested and it was perfect. I too added more cranberries than what it called for. I love pumpkin bread and the cranberries just made it all the more tasty. Even though I thoroughly greased each pan both times I made it, the bottoms still stuck...so I guess with this bread it's mandatory that you also use flour.
