About this Cook
I am a student living in Philadelphia.I am currently studying Women's Studies. I am a vegetarian and try to eat organic, whole foods.
My favorite things to cook
I have been getting into Indian recipes lately. It is an interesting method of cooking in comparison to traditional Westernized dishes. Indian food for vegetarians means a lot of spices and legumes, delicious! Baking, until recently, was my stronger activity in the kitchen. I make some mean shortbread cookies and want to master carrot cake soon.

Best Lemonade Ever
Great recipe. I also lowered the amount of sugar to about a cup and a quarter. Six lemons was more than enough for a gallon. Great for the start of summer!

Carrot Cupcakes with White Chocolate Cream Cheese Icing
What a delicious treat! I also halved the icing recipe. I used honey instead of vanilla and added a splash of orange juice instead of pineapple. They turned out just as moist and sweet. Worth a try!

Soft Pretzels I
Crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. The bigger the better! Perhaps a bit more flour could be used when making the dough. I also baked them for 3 minutes before boiling and this helped to maintain the shape.
