Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

My mustard and mayo hating kids loved this! I cooked it exactly as directed. With indirect grilling, this chicken did not burn at all - in fact, I put it directly over the coals for a minute at the end to brown it a bit more. This is definitely a keeper.

Garlic Chicken

I am speechless. I have made so many baked chicken recipes that promised crispy coatings and failed to deliver, that I didn't expect crisp from this. It was fantastic. Easy, crispy, tasty ... I made it exactly as stated, and will make it many times more.

Cake with Buttercream Decorating Frosting

I never would have thought I could actually make a frosting that tastes this good! I followed the recipe except that I drizzled in the milk to get the right consistency. Other reviews said it makes a lot of frosting, but I wasn't sure what that meant. I frosted a 9 inch layer cake lavishly, and easily have enough frosting left over for another one. I'm freezing it. This is a keeper!

Slow Cooker Ground Beef

This dish is delicious! I made it almost exactly as written, except I used onion powder (my kids have a texture problem with onions) and I left out the celery seed because I didn't have any on hand. I left it in my slow cooker for about 6 hours, although I'm sure it was edible before that. My only criticism would be - this recipe needs a different name. I was not sure what it was until I read the comment comparing it to Manwich - then I knew to serve it on buns.

Marinated Turkey Breast

Very, very tasty! I had never grilled a turkey breast before, but this recipe was easy and enjoyed by all. My only comment is to watch the turkey on the grill closely - I put it on a hot fire, lid down as directed, and when I went to turn it, it had burned on the bottom. I cooked the other side over indirect heat and it was perfect.

Pasta with Peas and Sausage

Excellent. I lowered the fat as others suggested by making a roux of cornstarch and sausage drippings, supplemented by a little Smart Balance, and then added 1 C. lowfat milk. My kids devoured it. I would have preferred it a bit spicier, but they wouldn't have eaten it that way. I will make this again.

Easy Skillet Chicken a la King

I revised this one a bit for my picky-eater kids. I left out the mushrooms. I also used leftover chicken. This meal was ready in a flash, perfect for a weeknight, and really tasty. I'll be making this again.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

I just made this tonight - followed the recipe exactly, only with one chicken. Now I wish I'd made two! I would never have believed that a chicken cooked in the oven could come out as juicy and tender as one cooked on a rotisserie. It was perfect!

Chicken Tetrazzini I

After reading the reviews, I thought this would be a slam-dunk success, but my teenaged daughter HATED it and my teenaged son just nibbled at it. My husband didn't eat it at all. I thought it was OK, just nothing fantastic.
