It's Chili by George!!
This chili recipe is fabulous! The texture and thickness is perfect! Like most people, I did make a few minor changes...instead of tomato juice, I used V-8. Instead of pinto beans, I used black beans because I had them on hand. Lastly instead of the tomato sauce, I used 2 cans of chili style diced tomatoes that I pureed with my hand blender...also because it's what I had on hand. Even with these minor changes, I think I stayed pretty close to the original recipe. This will be my "go to" chili recipe from now on!
