About this Cook
I loved cooking at school and did one day a week at catering college during my last year. I worked as a cook in a pub for 2 years in my late twenties, but gave up when I had my son. He is now twenty! The photo is of him and me when I was 30. We now live in Devon, England in a very pretty village. I run my own business from home so have lots of time for cooking, which my family is very pleased about!
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking anything, and since a recent holiday to the USA I found this website and have been trying out lots of recipes. Especially deserts and cakes which are so different to English ones.

Campbell's(R) Healthy Request(R) Chicken and Pasta Primavera
This was quite tasty, but don't know if I would make it again.

Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies
Having read the reviews and what the submitter Sarah says about dried cranberries also being good in this, I think the recipe means to use fresh chopped cranberries. If you do then you get quite a lot of moisture from them and the cookies do spread. I have also used dried cranberries and then I add a splash or two of milk and they are fine. The mix with the fresh cranberries is more tart. Hope this helps.

Chocolate Banana Bread
This was wonderful! I didn't have choc chips so cut up a dark chocolate bar. The only problem with this was the pieces were bigger than chips and most sank to the bottom. Still great though. Thanks :-)
