General Tsao's Chicken II
I am only rating the sauce in this recipe because that is the only part I used. The only substitution was I used 2 tsp. of chili paste in place of the dried chilies because that is what I had. As far as the chicken, I used the batter recipe from the Perfect Sesame Chicken from this site (which I have used before sucessfully). Also, I baked the chicken instead of frying it this time and I have to say, I liked it better baked - tasted better to me, leaves less mess to clean up and is more healthy anyway. I will definately use this sauce recipe again, but maybe cut back on the sugar a little bit and use more orange peel.
