My name is Lori I live in Murphysboro, IL I am married with 2 boys. I teach Family Consumer Sciences at Murphysboro High School (aka Home Ec) I love to bake, and try new things. In the winter I love my crockpot. In the summer I love to use fresh produce straight from my garden. Christmas dinner the way my dad did it for us growing up. Cornish Game hens, wild rice, broccoli and cheese, rolls and whatever else we feel like adding. Learning new techniques for anything and using them. Baking a delicious looking caramel apple layer cake for thanksgiving and getting all the way to our destination and dropping it upside down in the trnk of my car. I was devastated.
