Somehow tasted a bit bland to me, even after spending the night in the fridge, but it is probably because I omitted the rum. I will definitely make it again, using rum, or marsala wine. Make sure you whisk the eggs and sugar with an electric mixer until they are light yellow before you boil them. Also, double your espresso mixture! Had I only made the 1/4 cup I don't think it would have been enough. Update: After two days in the fridge the taste improved considerably and got rave reviews- people were telling me i need to open a bakery!
