My Family
About this Cook
My name is Jennai, I am 21 years old and I have been cooking since I was 16. I am going to college to earn my chefs certificate. I enjoy spending time with my son Elijah and my fiance Joshua. I also really like hanging out with my mom.
My favorite things to cook
I really like to try new things. I am especially fond of the slow cooker, I also really enjoy baking, mexican food, italian, southern, old-fashion cooking, and short and sweet recipes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Well I basically have learned all I know about cooking from my grandma Janice who grew up in Oklahoma, so alot of what I know and love is rooted in simple all-american tradition.
My cooking triumphs
Anytime I try a new recipe and it turns out delicious I consider it a triumph:)
My cooking tragedies
Anytime I invest time and money only to be disappointed by the outcome, a certain chicken parmigan recipe comes to mind:(

Sloppy Joe Sandwiches
This is a gret recipe! The only thing I did differently was I added fresh chopped grlic and onions while browning the beef! Thanks for submitting, this ones going in my favorites!

Baked Teriyaki Chicken
This is an awesome recipe!!! I did make a couple of adjustments though... for one I used chicken breast halves instead of thighs, 1 can of pineapple chunks, and brown sugar instead of white> i even used a little bit of the pineapple juice in the sauce, not too much though because I still wanted the sauce to be thick and bubbly! MMMMMM....my family loves this one!

Easy Ice Cream Cake
This recipe is great if for no other reason that its sooo simple! I changed it to suit my taste, i omitted the candy bar altogether, I used two containers of fresh raspberries, hot fudge topping, and mixed berry topping. It turned out quite nice.
