I am a mother of four...I love, love to bake, I am inspired by beautiful pictures and the change of seasons. I cook everyday and I get tired of the same old recipes, therefore, I am always looking for something new and fun to feed my family. I love the warmth and cheer of having them all around in the kitchen, even though the noise is deafening at times. I love to create beautifully decorated cakes, baking bread that is really healthy, and fabulous desserts. I enjoy making good down home cooked meals that are soooooo satisfying. I like to make specialty drinks. We really go way out around Christmas time. We love to bake gingerbread boy cookies along with tons of candy and a variety of cookies. I traditionally make Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve now so that we can relax on Christmas morning while the kids are opening their gifts. It makes for a carefree day of playing and eating left overs! Planning a holiday party with a smorgasbord of incredible appetizers, fancy drinks and being at ease the entire time, especially cooking and presenting each appetizer to the guests and them excitedly awaiting the next taste! I have to admit, fish is a down fall of mine, including smoking meat on the smoker - too many raw meals that turn into over-cooked meals - very disappointing!
