Apple Crisp IV
The cumbly top-and-bottom crisp mixture is fabulous. Made a great, family dessert with vanilla ice cream. Even good the next day for a decadent breakfast! Everyone loved this, but the apple slices never really got soft enough for my taste. Next time, I will definitely cut the apples into smaller pieces rather than thick slices. I will also toss the apples with a bit of orange juice (trick from Ina Garten's recipe) before adding them to the dish.

Banana Sour Cream Bread
Unbelievably delicious recipe! Thanks to the suggestions on temp and baking time for HALF the recipe, my first time making it turned out perfectly. I added almost a full pint of blueberries (at the peak of ripeness, from the farmer's market) and everyone loved it, even my kid who does not like to try new things. DO NOT SKIP the butter/cinnamon-sugar in the pan, and do top it with whatever you have left of the mixture. A little crunch on the top is really nice, too, and makes this feel almost dessert-like.

Cedar Plank Salmon
This was good, but not great. We felt like it was "missing something" and while we liked it, our kids wouldn't even eat it without us wiping off the sauce. Maybe it was the dried dill... So, I'm not sure we'll try it again with kids. Glad others have found it delicious.
