About this Cook
a cree newphy from the Northwest Territories. i learned to cook at age 4/5 and the first food i cooked was an omelete. Now when i cook everyone wishes they could be there to eat. Ive always wanted my own resauraunt but never the funds to do it so i live my dream by cookin great meals at home or at friends. The only thing is that i dont cook with onions....
My favorite things to cook
bein from the far north I really enjoy cooking moose and deer. but i like all other meats too..just dont ask for wild birds or fish...i cant say i have a favorite thing to cook...i take pride in all my cookin..and if u put love into your cookin every meal should come out wonderful!!!
My favorite family cooking traditions
stuffing roasts with veggies or garlic pieces...mmmm flavor....
My cooking triumphs
Mashed Potatoe's!! i have mastered the perfect mashed taters...everyone loves them and always ask me to make them for them, ive told family and friends how to get the taters nice and whipped but no one gets it...oh well i love what i do as a cook.....:)
My cooking tragedies
One time at a friends house I was making a mix of things...kinda my own recipe...anyways i bought a bag of Farkay Chow Mein Noodles. Well i guess they were on the shelf a while..I fried up some hamburger and made a gravy in it..added some veggies and waited till it was close to done to add the noodles..but once i put the noodles in i could smell that the noodles were not up to par but had a funky smell to them!! hmm who knew noodles could go bad???? that was an embarrasing meal!!!
