i am a retired professional European trained chef. I now manage a cafeteria in an elementary school and will begin teaching kids cooking/food basics to make right meal and food choices. My goal is to write cookbooks and help children become more self sufficient in eating choices.How to eat healthy from scratch cooking/preparation.
My favorite things to cook
baking cakes, cheesecakes and desserts. Italian dinners and panini sandwiches, huge vibrant salads and grilling. Soups are healthy and comforting and stews and chilis. Homemade pull pork and family style meals.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Holiday dinners and traditional Italian Sunday mid-day meals. Drinking coffee afterwards and diving in on a great dessert made by a family mnemeber.
My cooking triumphs
5 stars as a chef for Talapia(St. Peter's) fish with a lobster sauce. Creating fabulous events such as auctions/fundraisers and wowing the guests with tantalizing appetizers and not hearing a sound in a room of 400 people when indulging on their dinner. It is a triumph when guests leave satisfied and feel the love from the food.
My cooking tragedies
using a recipe not correctly tested and it is a flop.
