About this Cook
I am a wife and mother of 3. My husband is a chef and I love to cook too so together we come up with great things.
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking chicken so many different ways. We loving cooking all our foods on my electric grill. I am on weight watchers so I love trying new and healthy different things.
My favorite family cooking traditions
we don't really have many but we have to have our monthly taco salad . I make it with ground turkey and use light Ranch dressing to make it healthier. It is a 2 generations hit.
My cooking triumphs
I just recently made 2 doll cakes for my daughters birthdays and they came out beautiful. It being my first time I was nervous and couldn't sleep well a few days before. It was also my first time using fondant and although I did well it might just be my last time using it. ha
My cooking tragedies
Well a few Thanksgivings ago I was having the feast for my whole friends and family at my house that year. I had made my favorite must have candied yams dish with marsh mellows. Well to give myself more room on the counter and to keep the ready food warm I put the food on the stove. What i didn't know was I had left one of the burners on and next thing I know the candied yams exploded and glass went everywhere. I was devastated because I have to have that dish every year . That Thanksgiving feast was just not the same. Moral of the story is be sure to turn off burners.
