About me...hmmmm. I like to cook. I would define myself as an Experimental cook, seldom following a recipe ingredient by ingredient, but throwing a little bit of this, a little bit of that in the mix. Oh, and I love Montreal Steak Seasoning in and on most anything. And I like spicy.

My favorite family cooking traditions
On the third Thursday of every month, we make homemade chicken broth and everyone stands around the pot simmering on the stove, sipping the broth through crazy straws, humming the National Anthem. It provides a kind of festive kazoo soundtrack and it's full of protein.
My cooking triumphs
My steak. That's all I need to say.
My cooking tragedies
This is a non-cooking triumph...I once tried to make stuffed peppers for my girlfriend (12 years my wife now) and tried to use scallops. However, I ground them up, just like I would beef or pork. Note to self: Ground scallops is paste. But she married me so it's all good.
