About this Cook
I love to cook! I am from a large family (10 people) and I have been cooking for all of them since I was in elementary school.
My favorite things to cook
I love a good casserole, but I am known for bringing some new dessert to every potluck I attend. I love to try new recipes. That's why I love allrecipes.com I can type in the ingredients I have in my fridge and come up with some great new dish for dinner, lunch or a potluck.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Having my mom cook the meal of my choice every birthday and making hundreds of cookies to give away every Christmas.
My cooking triumphs
Anything that turns out the way the picture looks.
My cooking tragedies
I don't know if I have had a tragedy yet, but that's because I haven't tried anything terribly hard yet. I let you know when tragedy strikes.

Creamy Caramel Flan
Only reason I gave this 4 stars is because I didn't like it but I think that is my taste buds not liking flan. My family loved it!

Tres Leches (Milk Cake)
This was yummy. I had never had Tres Leches before so I don't have anything to compare it to, but the people at my party loved it!

Sopapilla Cheesecake
This is sooo yummy! I ended up making it 3 times in 2 weeks because people kept hearing about it.
