I love trying new things and the area of food has infinite possibilities. My family is always surprised by my creativity. I love cooking to make others happy and to introduce them to more than just hamburgers and fries. I love cooking Italian, especially meat dishes with rich sauces. I have also been dabbling at Chinese and Japanese cuisine, although I think I'm a long way from being considered an expert. My mom makes tamales every year for Christmas, and I like to make Paella for Easter. My mom has a standard recipe she has been using since I can remember, but my Paella varies from year to year. A lobster/clam bake for 20 people. It was so much fun! We ordered the seafood ahead of time and used some of the recipes from this site.
