I have little confidence in my cooking skills. I want to get better. Both of my grandmothers are great cooks. My mother was pretty good, but she did not have time to teach me. So... I am flying solo. Anything that is 4 ingredients or less and takes little to no time to prepare. Hey... I am being honest. My maternal grandmother is a great cook- she makes stir fry, crepes, bakes and can pretty much cook anything. She liked to experiment a lot. My paternal grandmother is a southern cook. If it is fried, she can make it and make it GOOD. Needless to say... I like it both ways. I made a chicken pie over the summer and the church people ate every drop! Yahoo! I tried cream cheese squares the other day and they turned out REALLY good as well. Uh... There are too many to tell. Naw... really it has not been that bad. I tried creamed corn one time and it was good, so I thought I had it down pat. The next time I attempted it... NOT SO. Cooking is a perfected art; a skill. I suppose I will have to work really hard to acquire it.
