About this Cook
Newlywed trying to put a descent meal on the table for my hubby.
My favorite things to cook
I love to make appetizers and bake goodies. I'm always searching for a "good" and "exciting" appetizer that no one has had before.
My cooking tragedies
I was 13yrs old and had to call my mom while babysitting to ask her how to make macaroni and cheese. I definitely overcame that day in my life, as mac and cheese is one of my favorites these days.

Creamy Chicken and Rice
very good dish. i was searching for something a bit different than normal for my husband and i and came across this. i had all ingredients on hand, but altered the cooking a bit to fit my schedule. i thought it would be way too creamy, but to my surprise it was perfect. instead of all velveeta, i cut back on it and added a bit of colby jack. delicious!!!

Easy Lasagna I
as a first time lasagna maker, this turned out quite well for me. i did make a few changes after reading other reviews: i only used the cottage cheese (24oz) instead of the ricotta, added some italian seasoning to the hamburger, and used a vegetable pasta sauce with mushrooms. i did run out of the meat mixture, but wouldn't change that too much. all in all, it turned out fantabulous! i did add about 1/4 cup of water to the edges to give it a bit more liquid to help the noodles along...it worked.

Amazing Chicken
This recipe will definitely be made again in my house. Very simple and quick to prepare. I didn't have breadcrumbs on hand, so I used crushed corn flakes and added some Italian seasoning and some parm cheese. The combo was great. The chicken was very moist and tasted great. One problem...the bottom of my chicken was soggy. Maybe next time I won't use as much mayo/crumbs on the bottom side.
