My name is Mary; I'm 26 years old and I love to cook. I come from a very Italian family so cooking and food has always been a part of my life. I am getting married this year and I am moving into our first house in a couple of months. I will be cooking much more and I'm always looking for new recipes. I hope to find many here!

My favorite family cooking traditions

Last Minute Chicken Dinner
This was a tasty and fast meal to prepare for those busy nights during the week! And it was hearty enough for my husband. I did change the recipe a tad by adding fat free cream of chicken soup and using skim milk. I also put mine over rice. I will definitely be making this again!

My Amish Friend's Caramel Corn
This recipe was very tasty. My family ate all the popcorn in one day! The only thing I would recommend is putting the popcorn in a bag, pouring the carmel coating in, and then shaking it. This makes the carmel spread evenly over the popcorn. Some of the other users had recommended this as well.
