Easy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2009
These are delicious, they get a 4 not due to taste but because we had to add milk as the dough was too crumbly. We put 1 cup of sugar not 1 1/2, next time we are going to use brown sugar, as we love the flavor of it.

Molasses Sugar Cookies

These are ginger sugar cookies! So SO good, who would of ever thought two of my favorite cookies in one. We did not put them in the fridge at all, and they baked nice, were easy to work with, they did not crack like the pic though and we are wondering if that is why.

Felix K.'s 'Don't even try to say these aren't the best you've ever eaten, because they are' Chocolate Chip Cookies

Well these are so good that I would rather eat the baked cookie over the dough, and that is saying alot cause I am a cookie dough addict. These are thick and chewy cookies, soo soo good!

Well it was a good outline, I added a few things and changed it up a bit. Instead of the pepper I put in 1/2 cup of chopped up Celery, a can of pork and beans, Tbsp Chili Powder, instead of Ketchup we used Tomatoe paste, I really liked the cloves in this recipe.

Spice Bars

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2009
This one is a "WINNER" They are very easy to make & at first they don't look like their going to turn-out like anything but crumbs but when you pat them down in your baking-pan & bake WOW are they ever delicious, we only had to bake 20 min & they were done! After they were baked & still warm in the pan, we poked holes in cake w/a regular table fork so the glaze/icing could seep through the cake b/f cutting. What a treat!!! Thanks for the recipe...

Wasn't good for me. 1)the dough froze 2)then it thawed b/f I knew it 3)it was hard to remove from the spatula to cookie sheet 4)it lost its shape while baking 5)it seemed to be a very brittle dough..

Sugar Cookie Cutouts

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2009
These cookies were defenetly not made to roll out and cut. We tried doing them over several days first I think my Mom rolled the dough too thin making them very difficult to cut. IN the baking process they spread out and lost there shape.

Sugar Cookie Icing

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2009
This icing was easy to work with, and it was so Shinny and that is what we were looking for and we loved how it hardened very quickly. WE did not have light corn syrup so we used regular and it tasted really good.

Red Velvet Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2009
These are DIVINE! Any chocolate lover will go banana's for these! We did not have sour cream so we used vanilla yogurt instead, if we had to do this again instead of doing the 3/4 cup of yogurt we would of tried 1/2 cup as yogurt is more runny then sour cream so then we would not of had to add more flour to make these cookies the right consistency. These are so moist and delicious, and the cream cheese frosting is the bomb! Finally they were really red, we got red food coloring from Micheal's and it worked 100 times better then the red you buy in most grocery stores

Cookie Balls

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2009
I decided to make these at the last minute, I'm from Alberta so some of the ingredients were altered/changed somehow My version #1)we never used the food processor b/c my baking slave thought it would make cookies too fine so she tried half abag of Oreo cookies & just smashed them separately in a heavy bag w/a heavy pot till we thought they would be right size,we used the whole bag. #2)the cream cheese was softened in a kitchen-aide blender #3)we added half a bag of c/crumbs but the mixture still seemed too moist so the rest of c/crumbs were added #4)the cookie/mix was dipped in a white/choc gnosh (all were melted in microwave)took about 3bags of white cc plus some were rolled in icing sugar.they looked nice & the whole recipe was SINFULLY-GREAT! the 'balls' could of been chilled b/f dipping b/c we got some odd colored balls, this recipe was quick, messy hands after rolled but the dog liked to lick your hands clean!!! I think we got about 60 balls..? depending how big U rolled them, we just used a TB & hoped for the best!! Thank You for this recipe!

Buttery Soft Pretzels

Reviewed: Jan. 22, 2009
We were confused at first as to why the baking soda water, but to our surprise it was for a good reason, Man did they brown nice and they cooked way faster then the batch that was not dipped. These are pretty simple and very delicious, not a very big batch so it would be a good idea to double them as they are so good they do not last long. We made the salt kind, a cinamin sugar one and garlic salt.

Cake Balls

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2009
If you like donuts then you will like these, I wasn't much for the consistency of them or maybe I am still bitter that the cake I used to make these balls with was the most perfect cake I ever made and I managed to get the whole thing out of the pan with the whole thing staying perfectly together lol. We dipped them in gnocchi which worked really well and was delicious. These made at least 80 for us as well.

5 Paws up, My Four legged friend who did not care for any of the two other doggie treat recipes we have tried, loves loves these!!!! She kept coming back for more. We did not have Chicken bouillon so we used the powder from a chicken gravy mix. We also substituted at tsp of honey for the tsp of sugar.

Peanut Butter Marshmallow Squares

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2008
The only thing bad about these are they are too good! We did not have walnuts so we used peanuts. We did not have a double boiler so we used the Microwave. We do not recommend that you use no name brand marshmallows as we did and they got really mushy really fast so we had to put white mini marshmallows on top to make them look better, we also added green and red sprinkles to decorate them up for Christmas

Red Velvet Cupcakes

Reviewed: Nov. 27, 2008
These are absolutely delicious our chief complaint and only complaint is that you had to use way way more food coloring then the recipe called for to get any kind of red tint. They puffed up gorgeously and we ended up with 18 large sized cupcakes

Mini Poppy Seed Loaves

Reviewed: Nov. 21, 2008
Very easy to dump all ingredients into one bowl and mix together. These are so cute and delicious. We cut back a little on the sugar and they were sweet enough, we used 3/4 cup. We added 1 1/2 tablespoons of poppy seed instead of the one. We substituted lemon juice 1 tsp instead of the 1 tsp of lemon peel as we did not have it.
