I'm 87 years old and have been married for 67 years. We have 2 boys,2 grand-children and 5 great grand-children. I retired as a Federal law enforcement officer about 25 years ago.During my entire time of employment, my wife stayed home and cooked for me.,(Less the time I served on Guadalcanal during WW2).After my retirement, it was only fair that I took over a large part of the cooking. It turned out to be my major hobby plus golf. Needless to say, my entire family loves all of those goodies and different kinds of ethnic food.It isn't all fun and games, but I love it. Italian Home made goodies for Christmas. I didn't feel that I had arrived at all until I made a good flaky pie crust. I cooked a complete sit down Thanksgiving dinner for 25. I burnt the gravy. Yuk. I was using a picnic type bench to seat six. The bench suddenly without warning collapsed. Bang they were gone.At least no injuries.
