Married mom of 3 young adults; we are empty nesting. I work outside the home and enjoy the company of lots of pets around the house. I love cooking soups, main meal entrees, breads, and desserts. I enjoy a simple, creative style of cooking and baking. My special cooking talent or triumph is that I can open the cabinet or fridge just about any time and make a tasty meal out of whatever I have on hand. "London Leather" - When I was 18 and sharing an apartment I splurged and bought a nice london broil steak. It was a risk, because I did not have a lot of cooking experience back then. I used totally the wrong method to cook the steak; first I braised it, then I broiled it a little. Thirty six years later my former room mates(now my husband and dear friend) still laugh when we talk about London Leather.
