totally loved this recipe! this is the first time i tried capers n it was a hit! its great with anything... i had it with a side of rice while mom had it with a bowl of salad... sure it wud b great with bread too :)... had a hard time trying to save some for bro who was late to the table. the sauce needed a bit more taste so added the capers with some of the vinegar it was soaked in instead of rinsing them out

This is the first time i tried royal icing n it turned out pretty good. i used it to decorate my cookies n the icing hardened well in the fridge. but smelled of raw eggs which was a turn off. even the guests noticed which was very embarrassing!

this cake is amazaing! i've made it twice in the last week ... no one actually believed i made it from scratch so had to make it again! i did follow the other reviews n decreased the oil to 1 cup tho i think 3/4th cup wud be enuff as well n i replaced half the sugar with brown sugar ... it compromised the color a lil but it tasted g8 both times
