About this Cook
I am very nice, sweet, laid back person. I have such a respect for people. I learn from people that I meet. I say that it's important to learn at least one thing everyday. I think their would be less ignorance and wars in the world, if people try to learn from people that they meet. I am currently going to school for nursing. I have about a year left. I have two beautiful angels~ Olivia (7) and Sakaia (4), and an amazing man in my life. I love to cook (of course), listen to music, sing, and dance. It's actually one of my favorite pastimes is to sing, dance, listen to music, while cooking in the kitchen with my girls. It makes it that much more fun.
My favorite things to cook
bread, chicken noodle soup, meatloaf, cookies (including my girls love it when I bake cookies), pretty much anything-I love cooking new things that I have never done before.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I loved watching my Nana cooking in the kitchen when I was a little girl. I paid attention and learned how to cook from her. One of my favorite thinsg she used to cook was cubed steak with country gravy from scratch, cornbread, and mashed potatoes.
My cooking triumphs
I conquered how to use yeast properly....yeah me....lol.Hey if you know how to use yeast properly, I think you could pretty much cook anything (I think!?!)
My cooking tragedies
LOL.....where do I begin ummm, first time I made cornbread....lol....let's just say I would have made Ellie May Clampett proud.
