Mom of 4 living in Japan. I love baking desserts like cakes. We make sushi on birthdays or new years eve. My husband is Japanese so we don't really have stereotype holiday meals. I do however try to make turkey & stuffing for Christmas. The kids hate the stuffing but DH devours it. Another tradition is making pizza. Pumpkin pie, cookies, carrot cake with creamcheese frosting, Japanese chicken & egg dish, other Japanese foods. Thai curry (I just couldn't find all the ingr. so had to sub), made cornbead from this site but the kids hated it.
