I'm young. I went to the French Culinary Institute and worked in restaurants for a while. I now teach some classes and work at a cookware store. I'm a little eccentric.
My favorite things to cook
I really love making pate a choux and pizza. Or anything with chocolate, really.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom always makes the green bean casserole for Thanksgiving. And my dad makes a mean frozen pizza.
My cooking triumphs
I suppose my crowning moment in baking would have to be my final for school. We had to make a cake and everyone of my classmates made one with roses or polka-dots or bunnies... I made mine a techy cake complete with fondant computer, mouse, monitor, keyboard, power strips, and electric cords. It was awesome.
My cooking tragedies
The first time I had to make shortcakes for 150 people. The biscuits were too crumbly and the cream was floppy. I cried.
