About this Cook
I am good at following up on the recipes but I like modifying them. I came from a family of great cooks who always experimented and served a good variety from around the world, it's hard to compete with their free-lance cooking...
My favorite things to cook
I am at ease with meat, fish and salads.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My partner and I adopted the idea of cooking the turkey for the holidays with a good variety of vegetarian dishes.
My cooking triumphs
Blackened Salmon in Cajun spice, Salsa with mango and black eye peas beans, Frittatas, Soups from the scratch
My cooking tragedies
Cider simmered pork, yak!!!! and shrimps with mangetout salad.

BBQ Glazed Homemade Meatballs
it was an easy and tasty recipe. i didn't have the liquid smoking flavouring so instead i used soya sauce and it came out just as good. maybe next time i would dilute the glazing sauce with water since it dried out completely.

Warm Mushroom Spread
Very good! I used three different types of mushrooms such as Chanterelle, Portabella and the regular white ones, the combinations just gave a fantastic taste. You can use the same combination in another recipe: Hungarian mushrooms soup.
