I have made this so many times! Love it. I always cut the butter and sugar in half, and then the entire recipe in half again and cook it in a hot cast iron skillet in the oven, when the skillet is preoiled and preheated the batter sizzles when you pour it in and makes a nice brown crust. The results are always so moist and flavorful!

Jenny's Black Forest Cake

I LOVED this cake. The batter was really thin when I poured it into the pans, but it turned out great! I didn't use the liquer, just a tart cherry pie filling and cool whip on top. My first attempt at this cake looked a bit of a mess, the cherry layer can kind of slide the cake layer if you don't know what you are doing. :) I will try to make it prettier next time with real fresh whipped cream.

Chili-Lime Chicken Kabobs

Very Easy, I have made these a couple of times now. Tastes great and good for parties too. As is, not very hot spicy, you could add more ground cayenne as needed.

Lighter Snickerdoodles

Really Great! Tasted Amazing, not "diet" at all. I even froze half the dough for a few days and then made the rest then. Yum.

Indian Naan II

Turned out very well for my first try making Naan. I substituted corn oil for ghee when I burnt the ghee trying to make it from butter.:( I also learned the thinner you roll it out the better, if you like a crispy crust, and soft inside like I do. I also minced up garlic and pressed it into the dough right before cooking instead of the onion seed. Two thumbs up! Very Tasty.

Chocolate Chip Pancakes

These were very easy and pretty good! However, I don't know if none of the other reviewers that gave this one 5stars mentioned it but after I first mixed the batter it was very heavy and thick, more like pancake dough. I know another reviewer had the same problem. It was easy to fix though by adding SMALL amounts of milk, and mixing after each addition until the right pourable consistency is reached. Good basic recipe! Will make again.

Chocolate Chip Cookies Lite

I really enjoyed these cookies! They were very good considering how healthy they are. I usually add a little cinnamon, and substitute whole wheat flour. You can also add 1 cup of dry oatmeal for a hearty chewy cookie. Just eyeball the dough as you add the oats so it doesn't get too dry, but if it does, just add a little more applesauce.

Old Fashioned Potato Salad

A very good simple recipe. And very flexible, I only had half the celery, and I used dijon mustard, a little bit of dill, celery seeds instead of salt and probably about 3/4 cups mayo total. It came out perfectly. Definitely reccomended!

Fresh California Salsa

Good, basic, and easy for beginners. Beware of the jalopeno seeds though! If you choose to add them they really crank up the fire of the entire recipe.

Banana Banana Bread

This was very good, moist and delicious! I basically followed the recipe exactly but I added 1 large apple chopped into small pieces and that added a welcome varience in texture. Next time I'll probably toss the apple in a mixture of cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar for that apple pie taste but I will definitly use this recipe as a base.
