I'm a college sophomore studying to becoms a special education teacher. I am also Majoring in History just for the fun of it. I am the oldest in my family and my cooking career started with the microwave at 2 1/2 years old. Desserts! They are also my favorite things to eat. There is such a wide variety and so many ways to do things. Making crepes with my mom and always burning our fingers on the hot ones. My mom (and later I) would cook them and a quadruple batch never lasted through the day. Divinity, simply because it is so blasted difficult to find a mixer that can handle it. It doesn't help when the air is wet either. Good thing divinity tastes good whether or not it turns out perfectly. Whenever I make jell-o a tragedy occurs. You give me something complicated to make and I get through it fine, but have me make jell-o and it either ends up everywhere or never sets.
