Soft Oatmeal Cookies

We thought these cookies were wonderful and easy to make!! I followed the recipe as written and had no problems at all with taste or texture. I baked them for 10 minutes using parchment paper and they came out perfectly.

Simple BBQ Ribs

Reviewed: Jun. 29, 2009
I made regular spare ribs. You know, the cheap stuff the supermarket puts on sale. I cut 4 1/2 lbs of ribs into individual pieces. Added them to a pot of water with 1 tbl chopped garlic, 10 peppercorns, 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce, tsp of salt, 1 medium quartered onion. I brought all to a boil and then lowered the heat and barely simmered for 1 1/2 hours. Poured off the liquid and then poured barbecue sauce over all. Let it sit in sauce until I was ready, and then grilled over medium heat, basting occaisionly until they looked like I like them! Everyone loved them!! No fuss no muss and very adaptable to your taste.

Yummy Honey Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 27, 2009
Love this recipe! Followed as written, except added a 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes to the marinade and then skewered unmarinated fresh pineapple chunks between the chicken chunks instead of veggies. Grilled over high heat on a gas grill and it was quick and perfectly done. Everyone loved it!! Would definitely recommend!!

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: May 29, 2009
Easy and delicious! My family loved it! I, like others, also used worscestershire sauce instead of the steak sauce. Next time I'm going to kick it up with a dash of cayenne pepper and try it on grilled pork chops! Yummy

Chewy Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2008
My family loved these cookies and thought they were delicious. Like some other reviewers I added a half of cup more flour which helped with the stickiness. I also chilled the dough and used a medium cookie scoop dipped in flour which made cookie placement very easy, at which point they were sprinkled with colored sugar. They took about 13 minutes to bake and came out perfectly.

Delicious Easy Chicken Francese

I love this recipe. It is so delicious. I use thinly sliced chiken cutlets, add mushrooms and also do the whole recipe in a skillet. I serve the extra sauce over thin spaghetti. Everyone raves about this!!

Angel's Old Fashioned Beef Stew

Excellent stew. Minus a can of beef broth, add a large can of low salt tomato sauce, large can of drained mushrooms(or sautee fresh) and a box of frozen peas....yummy!!!

Scallops and Spinach over Pasta

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2003
Enjoyed this. Made some changes though. I sauteed sea scallops(halved) seasoned with salt and pepper in butter. Then I sauteed the spinach in olive oil and garlic, fresh ground pepper, added a can of low sodium fat free chicken broth and the lemon juice. Tossed all with the pasta. Yum. Thanks for a new idea for a pasta dish!!!

Honey Glazed Ham

Loved, loved, loved this ham!!!! First time I ever made a ham.(had to ask other shoppers what to buy...shank or butt? Shank won!) Excellent recipe even though I used brown sugar instead of the syrup and omitted the cloves(hate cloves..yuk). Will definetly make this again!
