We love this cake! Follow the recipe and get great results everytime. We are dark chocolate fanatics and use Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate cocoa.

Ken's Perfect Hard Boiled Egg (And I Mean Perfect)

Wow! This really works! I was getting progressively worse at successfully completing this easiest of cooking tasks, trying all the different variations that friends suggested. Followed the recipe to a T and they came out perfectly.

Famous Butter Chicken

Our family loves this! My teenage daughter can make it easily on those days when I can't make it home in time to get dinner together. We use a "Ritz" type cracker and cut the chicken breasts into more manageable pieces. It makes it sort of like chicken nuggets without the frying. Yum!

Smooth Sweet Tea

Kielbasa and Kidney Beans

Our family loves this recipe! Great for an economical, quick meal. I use whatever beans I have on hand and ketchup if there is no steak sauce in 'fridge. Extra veggies are nice touch too, like carrots, or celery.

Hot Fudge Pudding Cake III

This is really good! My teenage son requests it every year for his birthday cake. I double it and put it into a 9 X 13 cake pan. It doesn't make a very pretty presentation, but add a scoop of ice cream and you're near heaven! For extra chocolate flavor,we use Hershey's dark chocolate cocoa and I cut back on the water just a bit.

Tiramisu Layer Cake

I have made this cake several times now and I always get good feedback. My husband LOVES it! I have rushed through the recipe and "messed" up, but the results were still delicious. My advice is to read each step carefully as you go. Don't wing it from memory.

Almond-Topped Fish

My teenage daughter made this for dinner and it was fabulous! She omitted the almonds as we didn't have any. Used talipia since that's what we had. This will definitely be made again in our household!

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

This recipe makes a very good bread. I had left over pumpkin from Thanksgiving and needed to use it up. I only used 1/2 of the vegetable oil and did NOT replace it with applesauce. I also exchanged 1 cup of white sugar for brown sugar. Once again, VERY YUMMY!

Chewy Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Orange Oatmeal Muffins

These muffins are fantastic! Our absolute favorite. I am repeatedly asked for recipe! One change,we don't care for raisins so I substitute with chopped pecans. Wonderful!

Jay's Signature Pizza Crust

Absolutely THE best pizza crust ever. I use the dough cycle on my bread machine and add a little extra flour. We love this recipe at our house. This dough also freezes very well.

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

This recipe is great!! A favorite in our family and the first choice in preparing meals for guests. I always get compliments and requests for recipe. I usually double recipe and use two packets of gravy for a terrific consistency. As a caveat, you had better like the taste of wine as it is definitely there. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Caramel Nougat Bar Peanut Butter Cookies

These are great! My kids and I have really enjoyed them. I made the cookie dough per the recipe, but I used the fun size candy bars instead. The dough was just enough to cover all of the candy bars that came in the package. I also, put popsicle sticks into the bar lengthwise before I wrapped the dough around them. The kids get a kick out of the unique way to eat a very good cookie! We'll definitely put this one in the recipe box to try again. Thank you!

Graham Cracker Cake I

This cake is rather tedious to make. Although I received rave reviews from my guests who tried it, I don't think I'll try this recipe again. I've made it twice now and both times the cake itself literally falls apart as I try to frost it. The frosting tastes really good, but all that butter scares me!
