Classic Macaroni and Cheese

meh, we were not impressed...will stick with my old recipe which has cottage cheese and sour cream which seems to give a classic some depth, this wasn't even very creamy =( sorry

Chocolate Chip Coffee Cake

really moist...decided i really did not like the cinnamon and chocolate combo..but wow what a moist delicious cake...peeled off the topping and it was delish ;) would make as muffins without topping. :) thanks!

Ninety Minute Cinnamon Rolls

Very good, pretty easy too! Our only complaint, too sweet...will reduce the sugar in the filling a smidge next time :) Also, we tried a cream cheese frosting which we thought overpowered the taste of the cinnamon roll, switch to a light glaze...much better! thanks =)

Boiled Bagels

easy dough to work with...took shape well, fun to make...our only complaint? the sogginess from the boil...is there a way to combat this? maybe we ate them too soon from the oven, perhaps if they set to dry? was odd...will make again though, good recipe :)

Cake Mixes from Scratch and Variations

Okay, to be fair I would give it 3.5 stars. This is an ok cake. I did the suggestion of the vegetable oil for the shortening and upped the milk a 1/2 cup. This is a very basic recipe that will yield you a somewhat dense okay moist cake...not a fine crumb and not light and fluffy. Almost like a quick bread recipe in texture. It would work good as a pineapple upside down cake I think. If you're looking for a cake for a special occasion...this IS NOT IT. =)

Buttertart Squares

I didn't try them (added walnuts and am allergic) but I got a 'they're really sweet' and a 'they're okay' ... so not a winner in our group...did add the coconut and raisins...maybe that contributed a lot to the sweetness...wouldn't make again, sorry.

Sourdough Tomato Bread

Overall an okay bread...bland though, even with italian seasoning, onion powder, chopped onion, garlic powder added. definitely needs more salt...doubtful i would make again...sorry :(

Since I have a nut allergy I personally don't know what they taste like...but they got rave reviews from all that tried...I doubled recipe and made in a 9 x 13 pan...needed more caramel and will adjust that next time :)

Amazing Whole Wheat Pizza Crust

halved the recipe, was decent, would make again...would work much better on a pizza stone, a pizza pan made for a too-soft crust. overall will try again.

Unbelievable Rolls

easy enough that a first time yeaster (me) could do them! i thought they were a tiny bit dry, but everyone loved them...will make again and practice with other additions, cin, sugar, and butter went well...as did garlic, onion and italian seasoning in breadstick form :) thanks!
