Trinidad-Style Curried Potatoes (Aloo) with Green Beans and Shrimp

I love this dish. I have made this at least 5 times in the past 2 months. I recently made this for some friends and they now all keep asking me to make it again. You have to like Trini food to really appreciate this dish. as for blandness, I personally season food to my liking this way I don't end up with a bland meal. No one knows my taste buds like I do.

I am addicted to this sauce...I used it on fish Tacos....sooo freaking good! I too was eating it with a spoon and corn chips..this is a definte keeper!

Frogmore Stew

Love Love Love this recipe! What I like most is that its soo versitile. You can add and remove and still have something wonderful. I am bad with measuring...most times I eyeball my seasoning or season to tate. I like to add more old bay than called for as well as a bag of crab boil. I also add crab legs and little neck clams to the mix. I serve it with a garlic hot sauce butter mixture for dipping.

Mama Corleone's Sausage and Peppers

I had this for dinner last night and it was wonderful. I did simmer the cooked sausage and peppers in some Marsala wine and then tossed it with my pasta. Soooooo good.

Greek Tzatziki

I made this to go with some naan bread that I had and it was wonderful! I did omit the garlic and the olive oil. I alo scaled the recipe back some by using a 4oz container of plain greek yogurt. Its best to use Greek yogurt, this way you don't have to strain the yougurt. I also added a bit of Greek seasoning to my mixture.

Slow Cooker Barbecue Ribs

I LOVE this recipe!!! I used boneless baby back ribs and took the advice from others and let them carmelize in the oven for about 15 minutes at the end. I did not have any floating grease on my ribs. I also used Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce instead. Thanks!

Slow Cooker Beef Stew IV

I made this last night and it was wonderful! My house smelled sooo freaking good. I did omit the parsley and subsituted 1 cup of the water for low sodium beef broth. I served it with some warm french bread. Will make again. Thanks!

Barbie's Tuna Salad

I have found my new way to eat tuna! This was AWESOME!!!! I can't stop eating it and I made it for lunch tomorrow. LOL! The curry and dill really set this tuna salad apart from others I have tried. Thanks ever so much for sharing this recipe.

Creamy Twice-Baked Potatoes

I make this dish often because it sooo freaking good! I season my potatoes with lawrys season salt, garlic powder and black pepper. Then to the mixture I add some shredded cheese as well as the cream cheese. And I omit the paprika. YUMMMY!

Cocktail Meatballs

I made these for my open house and they were AWESOME! Everyone kept asking about the meatballs. The only thing I did diffrent was I added a pack of beefy onion soup mix to my meatball mixture. Thanks for sharing!
