This was excellent. My son almost refused to eat it because he doesn't like pork and he asked for seconds. I only had 4 chops, so I didn't double the gravy, but I did add fresh mushrooms. And the gravy went great with mashed potatoes.

My husband had this at a friend's house. He came home raving about the hot buttered rum he had and had his friend's wife give him the recipe. Well, lo and behold it was this recipe from my favorite website. I have never liked rum, and even I thought it was good. I will also be adding it to my hot tea. It is so sweet, my 5yr old licked the spoon and pot when I was done making it.

Excellent recipe! I have made it several times so far. The best thing is that you can change the bread to whatever you want each time you make it.
