Classic Macaroni Salad

I liked the creaminess of the salad but found it much too sweet. Next time I'll cut back on the sugar and make it ahead of time - it's better the 2nd day.

Bread Machine Pizza Dough

Excellent dough!! I also added a mix of Italian seasoning for a little extra flavour. I've even frozen the dough and it rolled out beautifully several weeks later.

A good basic recipe that was easy to prepare. I did increase the amount of sugar as we like our waffles sweeter and doubled the vanilla. Perhaps I cooked the waffles for too long but I found them quite tough and crunchy. Next time I'll definitely cut down on the cooking time.

Restaurant-Style Hashbrown Casserole

Love this casserole to serve for brunch! I do find it a little greasy so I'll cut back on the butter next time. We prefer a crunchy topping and decided to crush corn flakes in a Ziploc bag (approx. 2 cups) and added 1/2 cup of melted butter. Spread that on top before baking. YUMMY!!!!

Spaghetti With Marinara Sauce

I love this recipe! So easy to prepare and I make extra so I can freeze it for another day. I added extra garlic, some finely chopped white onion and simmered the sauce for 2-3hrs.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Love this recipe - it's sooooo easy! I also added onion and fresh, minced garlic for some extra flavour. Served it on a baked potato with a dollop of sour cream, green salad, and green beans on the side. My husband raved about it. Makes a great sandwich on a bun the next day as well.

Empire Cookies

One of the best cookie recipes I've ever made! Super easy as I normally make the dough in the morning and keep it wrapped up in the fridge until the afternoon. I find rolling it out between wax paper to be the easiest way to avoid a major kitchen mess. Since I don't have an actual round cookie cutter, I use a shot glass instead which is the perfect size. I noramlly like the raspberry jam in the middle but sometimes switch it up with my homemade strawberry. Super yummy and everyone loves them!

Bread and Celery Stuffing

I've used this recipe many times over the years for our festive turkey dinners. It's so easy my husband is even able to make it successfully! Everyone raves about it. I always add a little extra poultry seasoning and salt. So yummy and moist! It even keeps well if you choose to make it the evening before your big dinner - bake in the over the day of.

Unbelievable Chicken

I absolutely love, love, love this marinade! I used it on 50 boneless skinless chicken breasts for my Dad's surprise 60th birthday party. Ended up marinating for a full 24hrs and increased the garlic and lemon juice as I prefer those flavours to be a little stronger. Everyone at the party raved about the amazing taste and how tender the chicken turned out. You won't be disappointed!!!

Cheesiest Potato Soup

I can't count the number of times I've made this soup. It's so incredibly easy and delicious!! My husband, parents and co-workers love it when I serve it as either a starter or a meal in itself. Goes beautifully with a spring mix salad and fresh crusty bread. Sprinkling chopped chives and shredded sharp cheddar of top adds a little extra flavour and colour. Freezes extremely well.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Yummy yummy yummy!!! These were my first try at making homemade blueberry muffins. I was not disappointed! So easy and delicious. I stuck to the recipe exactly except I added a tablespoon of water to thin out the batter a little. I had bought fresh blueberries 2 weeks ago and froze them. Only thawed them halfway so that they wouldn't get all mushy in the batter. The streusel is the best part of the recipe! Next time I'm going to try raspberries for a different twist.

New Red Potato Salad

Excellent and easy recipe. I used balsamic vinegar which gave the salad a wonderful flavour. Also doubled the salt/pepper, added a couple of finely chopped dill pickles, and topped with paprika for colour. Everyone loved it and I'm making it again tonight!

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

LOVED IT!!! I used a top sirloin roast and it turned out so tender and tasty. This is one I'll make over and over. Extremely easy...took only 5 minutes to throw the ingredients into the crock pot and let sit for the afternoon. I added a few extra seasonings like garlic powder and oregano. Wonderful recipe!

Chicken Breasts Pierre

FABULOUS!!! This is such an amazing chicken recipe ~ my husband and I loved it! It's even better the next day as leftovers. I'll be making this one over and over again! I did add extra chopped garlic and spices but everything else stayed as is. Can't rave about this one enough!

Delicious Raspberry Oatmeal Cookie Bars

Love these bars!!! I made them and took them to work with me...a huge hit! My husband loves them too. I'm making another batch tomorrow to take to work...everyone keeps bugging me for them! I double the recipe and drizzle white chocolate on top. Beautiful!

Ranch Dressing II

This is absolutely the best ranch dressing I have ever tasted! I make it all the time for my husband and when I have guests over. Everyone asks for the recipe! If I use it as a dip I leave it just the way it is. As a salad dressing I thin it out a bit with 2% milk. Always yummy!

French Onion Soup V
