Southern Peach Cobbler

This was exceptionally good. I followed the recipe with the only deviation being I used frozen sliced peaches instead of fresh.

Eggplant -- Easy, Good and Tasty

This was my first time to make eggplant. I made my own bread crumbs. This was very good and a great hit with my husband. It was also my first time to taste eggplant and I enjoyed it.

I was looking for something different in a meatloaf. I'm tired of the ketchup/chili sauce type. This fit the bill perfectly. I served it with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. Perfect comfort food for a rainy evening. I followed the recipe exactly and it turned out just right!

Warm Dijon Potato Salad

We love, love, love this potato salad. It is so easy to make. I often add a couple of chopped hard boiled eggs and a little celery to it. It is great served warm but the cold leftovers are just as good.

Honey Baked Chicken II

My only change was to cut the butter in half. I spread the mixture over the chicken and really didn't need to baste as it stayed on the chicken. It produced very tender, moist chicken that everyone at my table enjoyed.

Cinnamon Apple Jelly

This jelly turned out beautifully and tastes great with just the right amount of cinnamon. I followed the directions and it set up perfectly. The key is to measure the sugar exactly and not use less than the recipe calls for.

Grandmother's Buttermilk Cornbread

My husband loves cornbread and I've always hated it. I tried this recipe for him and it turns out we both loved it. I followed the directions exactly and this produced a sweet, delectable easy to slice cornbread. We enjoyed it with homemade apple butter.

Sweet Potato Pie I

What a wonderful recipe! I had a large sweet potato already baked and just scooped it out and mashed it with all the other ingredients. It turned out beautiful and delicious -- just the right consistency. This recipe is a definite keeper!

Best Fried Green Tomatoes

I had a few tomatoes that accidentally got knocked off the vines so I decided to make this recipe. My husband (who thought he didn't like fried green tomatoes) really enjoyed them as did our son. I followed the recipe exactly and they turned out perfectly.

Gourmet Chicken Pizza

I've made this several times. The biggest change I make is to use a homemade ranch dressing (recipe from this website). I always season my chicken with lemon pepper before cooking. I have used salsa instead of tomatoes sometimes. I have also tossed the cooked chicken in Frank's hot sauce before topping the pizza. This is a very forgiving recipe that can be changed or added to without any problems. GREAT RECIPE!

Strawberry Jam

Peanut Butter Bars

This is one of my "go to" recipes. Everyone loves them. Definitely make the icing; it is not a step to skip. I have tried with a variety of chips and even mixtures of several kinds and you can't go wrong. Don't pass this recipe up.
