Land of Nod Cinnamon Buns

Made these for our Girl Scout sleepover, they were a total hit! Will definitely be making them again. May add pecans next time and perhaps reduce the amount of raisins. GREAT EASY RECIPE!!!

Real Texas Chili

I'm from Texas and I have been making this chili for a while. This is our favorite chili. Sometimes when my kids have friends over and I need to stretch this recipe I like to add a can of diced tomatoes and a can of drained pinto beans. Great recipe.

Old Fashioned Sugar Cookies in a Jar

I have tried many cookie jar recipes. This one is great! I always try the recipe before I give it to friends. Made these cookies with my 3 and 4 year old. It looks crumbly after you mix it, but I just gathered up the whole dough, wrapped it in a piece of plastic wrap, refrigerated it, and then instead of rolling it out we just made 1 inch balls and pressed them into Christmas sprinkles. They spread a lot, but they made a nice chewy sugar cookie. Very easy recipe. Will make these again and again.

These are so easy and no sticky pot to scrub. Kids love them! I make extra and cut them up and keep them in the fridge. Easy recipe for kids to make too. They have become a Girl Scout most asked for recipe in our troop.

Possibly the easiest recipe I have found for ladyfingers. They turned out great. I baked mine a little longer on insulated baking sheets, to get a drier cookie for tiramisu. These would be great in a lot of layered desserts.

TIP: You must freeze ice cream for at least two to three hours after you make it in your ice cream maker if you want it to be like the consistency of ice cream you get from the grocery store, this is called tempering. When it comes directly from the ice cream maker it is very much like soft serve ice cream.
