I am a classically trained personal chef and cooking teacher. My mother, who is from Germany, and my Mother-In-Law have been my greatest cooking influences. Currently I have a soapmaking business, since soapmaking is not really a stretch from cooking it's a good fit for me. German and European foods and recipes can be found on our holiday table as well as American favorites, and some of my own concoctions. Teaching children and adults to cook, and seeing the smiles when their dishes turn out well. Everybody burns things and has flopped dishes, I guess I don't have a real tragedy. I've been pretty lucky in the kitchen.
